The Côte de Rouffach has the best south and south-east facing trails around the small town of Rouffach. Nestled at the foot of the Vosges peaks that protect it from oceanic influences, this terroir enjoys superb sunshine: ideal conditions for optimal ripening of the grapes. Its wines are recognized by their delicacy, their fruitiness and their freshness.

The «Côte de Rouffach» is one of the 11 communal appellations recognized in Alsace. The communal appellations are located above the level of the Alsace appellation and below the Grands Crus
