The process to make marcs is first to choose grapes from the estate. The marcs are distilled in two passes, only the heart -the most noble part of the distillate- is distilled again to ensure an exceptional aromatic purity and finesse.

Tasting
The Marc de Gewurztraminer has a charming and spicy nose. It develops fine fragrances of orange peel and shades of rose water and fresh ginger. Its palate is powerful. It’s a very delicate marc.

Distillation
The aroma, flavour and delicacy of a large marc depends closely on the quality of the grape: they all come from the family domain. They are therefore perfectly ripe aromatic.
After being pressed without crushing, the grapes are collected to macerate and ferment for two months.
